Ibeth Mejias

Ibeth Mejias, 74, died Sunday September 25, 2022. Ibeth was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 27, 1948 to Manuel Mejias and Victoria Alvarez. She was a beloved dance instructor touching the lives of many students during her over 45 yrs as a Dance studio owner in Puerto Rico before moving to Homestead, FL in 2006, where she continued teaching. After retiring she volunteered her time as a dance instructor to underprivileged children. Her faith was very important and she attended St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.

Ibeth is survived by her children Monica Rosa and her husband Mario Carvajal of Louisville, KY, Rene Rosa and his wife Elizabeth Campos of Sunrise, FL, and Maria Rybek and her husband Wayne Rybeck of Titusville, FL, her grandchildren Dylan Rosa, Marina Machin and Evan Machin, as well as a large extended family.

Ibeth’s life will be celebrated at 3pm Saturday October 1, 2022 at North Brevard Funeral Home.
