Joseph J. Pinkos, 70 of Titusville passed away on Thursday November 25, 2021 while surrounded by his loving wife and two daughters. He was born on March 9, 1951 to the late Joseph and Janet Pinkos in Newark, NJ. He was raised in Lakewood, NJ and went to Lakewood High School class of 1969. Joseph was a 1973 graduate of Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, PA. He was a lifelong member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. In 1979, he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law, Houston, TX. Joseph also was a lifelong member of the Texas Bar Association.
Joseph was a Labor Relations Attorney in the Aerospace industry. He worked for Lockheed Martin in Austin, TX, Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX and Kennedy Space Center, Titusville, FL. In 2010, Joseph started working for Pantex Nuclear Facility in Amarillo, TX until his retirement in 2016.
Joseph enjoyed football. He was a kicker in high school and college. His passion of football was the driving force behind calculating power rankings for high school teams in the state of Florida. It was published through the Florida High School Athletic Association.
Joseph’s favorites things were the beach, Houston Astro’s Baseball, Astronaut High School football, college football, Mexican food, history and traveling.
Joseph will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of forty-seven years, Kristine Pinkos; daughters Katie and Lisa Pinkos; brother Robert (Margarita) Pinkos; brother in laws Richard (Nancy) Kenney; Eric (Laura) Kenney; nieces Sarah Kenney, Annie (Matt) Nied, and Cristina Dulin; nephews Robert Kenney, Michael Kenney and Raul (Tabitha) Perera. Graveside services will be held on Saturday December 4, 2021 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 12PM. Celebration of Life will be held at Indian River Preserve after the service at 1:30PM.
