Joseph Thomas

Joseph Thomas, 80, died Sunday October 17, 2021 at his home in Titusville. Joseph was born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana and grew up in Port Arthur, Texas. He served in the US Air Force for 20 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. He came to Titusville from California in 1988 and worked at Bamsi at Kennedy Space Center until retiring in 2000. Joseph coached football and loved sports and working with young people. He was everyone’s favorite “Uncle Jr. Boy”

Joseph is survived by his wife of 51 years Crystal (Lek) Thomas, his son Carlton “CJ” Thomas and his wife Jeanette, and his granddaughters Maira and Cyrah all of Titusville, his sisters Barbara Glamb and her husband Victor of Detroit, MI, and Mary Galine Baker of Ft. Worth, TX. He was preceded by his parents Carlton and Hazel Thomas, his sister Ursula Winston his aunt Alzina Trahan, and several nieces and nephews. . He was everyone’s favorite “Uncle Jr. Boy”

A visitation will be from 10-11am Saturday October 30, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with mass celebrated at 11am.
